1650 slides and findings build a small way of the cross of an inhabitant of Hamburg searching for salvation. Each element stands for one meter of the 1650 meter long "Via Dolorosa" in Jerusalem that Christ took after his condemnation to get to the location of his crucifixion.

The objects are fixed onto the old toll fence at the mercy of the weather conditions and the people. They struggle against the conditions, but are also charged up by new impulses, thus creating a new fictive path.
